A Company in Motion 

In recent years, we’ve made a deliberate shift, stepping back from LTL to concentrate our energy and resources on the service areas where we can deliver the most value: over-the-road transportation and drayage, alongside our growing warehousing and distribution network. It’s a more focused footprint, and an intentional one. 

That focus is already producing results. Data now drives our operational decisions in ways it hasn’t before, with new systems and automation streamlining how we run day to day, including AI-assisted processes in billing and administration. Teams are working closer together as one unified operations group. Geographically, we’re expanding our reach, with the recent opening of our first Midwest warehouse in Indiana marking a meaningful step toward a truly national presence. 

Sustainability is woven through it all. Our Downtown LA facility already runs one of the largest rooftop solar arrays in the city and has transitioned nearly its entire forklift fleet to electric. The next frontier? Adding approximately 20 electric vehicles to our truckload and drayage fleet by the end of 2026. These EVs will serve local and regional moves within a 300-mile radius, and many are being added in direct response to customer demand as larger shippers look for logistics partners who can support their own sustainability reporting and ESG goals. 

The Leaders Behind the Momentum 

Guiding our transportation operations through this evolution is Michelle Wiggins, who now oversees all modes of transportation at Dependable: OTR, drayage, and brokerage. Michelle brings nearly 25 years of industry experience spanning dispatch, carrier sales, account management, and executive leadership at some of the industry’s most recognized names, including C.H. Robinson, NFI, and Werner. She has been a longstanding advocate for women in trucking and has trained teams and leaders worldwide. 

What drew Michelle to Dependable was precisely what makes this moment exciting: a legacy company with deep roots, real assets, and the drive to modernize. Her priorities align closely with where we’re headed: smarter equipment utilization, better technology, tighter cross-team collaboration, and a sustainability agenda that’s becoming a genuine competitive differentiator. 

On the commercial side, Bryan Jolliff has stepped into the role of Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing all customer-facing functions across our organization. With close to 30 years of experience and a consultative, relationship-first approach, Bryan is well suited to deepening the partnerships that fuel our growth. His background in expedited freight, where customer expectations leave no room for error, has given him a sharp instinct for service and a reputation for trust that his clients have relied on for years. Since joining Dependable, he has been laser focused on growth, and in his expanded role, that growth mindset now extends across the entire sales organization. 

Michelle and Bryan go back more than two decades to their time together at C.H. Robinson. Their complementary strengths, with Michelle driving operational performance and Bryan building customer relationships, make for a leadership partnership prepared for rapid growth.
