Driver Qualifications

In order to be considered, Owner Operators and Company Drivers must meet the following requirements:

Truck Driver Requirements

  • Posses a valid license for the position you are seeking
  • Social security card
  • Current D.O.T. physical (if required)
  • H-6 DMV printout
  • Haz-mat & Doubles - Required
  • Current Registration (Ow/Op Only)
  • M.C.P. (Ow/Op Only)
  • CA # or B.I.T. (Ow/Op Only) 

Age Requirement

Minimum 23 years of age.

Driving Record Requirements

  • We allow up to 3 ½ points in the last 3 years
  • No conviction for a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving in the last 5 years
  • No preventable accidents in the last year as defined as D.O.T. reportable as outlined byFMCSA

Drug Screening / Physicals

  • All applicants must pass a pre-employment D.O.T. drug screen.
  • Have a valid medical exam before DHE can make you an offer

Experience

Minimum of 2 years verifiable truck driving experience required

Road Test

All Company Drivers and Owner Operators are required to pass a road test in the type of vehicle to be operated, given at one of our terminals by an instructor.

Background & Employment Check

  • You must provide at least ten years of work history.
  • We will verify the last three years employment by phone or in writing
  • Applicants that have been convicted of a felony in the last 7 years will not be considered
  • Any falsified information will result in immediate termination.
